An annual ‘desktop’ calendar featuring Tenby would be a good way to promote the town, one local councillor has suggested to his colleagues.

Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting of the town council, Clr. Trevor Hallett showed his colleagues a calendar he had been given of a little town in Croatia which had used the gifts to promote the town.

“I don’t know how much it would cost to do, but it has worked quite well for this particular little Croatian town, and our town needs all forms of PR,” he said.

Clr. Mrs. Christine Brown said that considering the fact that the Chamber of Trade and Tourism printed the town maps, it might be a project they would be interested in considering.
