On Sunday last, the Sunday School anniversary services were held at Pisgah Baptist Chapel.
The afternoon service was given by the Sunday School scholars, with the Pastor, Rev. Phylip Rees, presiding over the service.
The Pastor opened with a prayer, before the choir and congregation joined in the singing of the hymn 'All things Bright and Beautiful'. Other items were as follows:

The Pastor closed with the Benediction.
The conductor for the Sunday School Choir was Mrs. Elizabeth Treharne, and the Sunday School accompanist was Mrs. Jayne Calvert, assisted by Mrs. Vanessa Thomas.
The evening service was given by the Adult Choir. The Pastor, Rev. Phylip Rees, again presided over the service, which commenced with the choir and congregation singing 'When the roll is called up yonder'. Other items were:

The Pastor closed with prayer, with the congregation singing the doxology.
During the service, the Pastor made a presentation to Mrs. Elizabeth Treharne in recognition of her 10 years service as choir conductor.
The conductor and accompanist for this year's service was Mrs. Val Evans, assisted by Elizabeth and Vanessa.
Large congregations attended both services for a wonderful day of service of praise to God.
Tomorrow (Saturday), the Sunday School scholars will be going to Oakwood for their annual outing.
On Thursday, the weekly coffee morning was held.
This Sunday, the morning service will be taken by Mrs. Mallams, with the Pastor taking the evening service when the Ordinance of the Lord's Supper will be observed. There will be no Sunday School.
