Two anglers fishing off the rocks at Manorbier Beach on Sunday night had to be rescued by Tenby's RNLI all-weather lifeboat after they were surrounded by the tide and were in danger of being engulfed. Both men, who were from Bridgend, were experienced anglers and knew the tides, but didn't realise how far up these particular rocks a full tide came. Both were removed from their wet perch by the 'Y' boat (the small inflatable boat attached to Tamar Class lifeboats) and deposited safely onto Manorbier Beach, where they were met by the coastguard rescue team from Manorbier.
