A 10-metre yacht, which ran aground off Hazelbeach, near Neyland, on Monday afternoon, was towed to safety by RNLI Angle's all-weather lifeboat.
The lifeboat, which was launched at 4.39 pm, at the request of Milford Haven Coastguard, had to work in strong winds and very little water for the rescue operation.
But, with the help of a rib from Dale Sailing, the lifeboat was able to get a tow rope across to the yacht, which had three persons on board. The vessel was then pulled into deeper water and escorted back to Neyland.
