Sir, This is true of the Art Exhibition at Little Wedlock Gallery, Gumfreston, produced by five women artists who declared their response to the catastrophe of war during the previous 60 years throughout our planet. On entering the open exhibition, one is made familiar with the dates of these wars and the number of thousands of civilian casualties following each war. It's unnecessary to ask who these casualties are; we learn from television news of the devastation of whole families. The paintings (for sale) are very moving. I recommend them to those peacemakers who are looking for inspiration. The free exhibition opened on Saturday, April 8, and will continue until April 29. I can highly recommend it.
