JOIN broadcaster and author Jamie Owen and photographer David Wilson at the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven, on Thursday, July 19, as they talk with BBC producer and director Tony O’Shaughnessy about their new book ‘A Year in Pembrokeshire’.

Jamie and David spent a year travelling around their beloved home county documenting communities and lives lived out in one of the most extraordinary landscapes in Britain.

Accompany them as they explore the Preseli Hills, sail the Cleddau Estuary and visit St. Davids at Christmas, among a host of other adventures. Hear about the inspirational people they encountered on their travels.

“This is a love story in prose and pictures,” says Jamie, who is now a news anchor with TRT World based in Istanbul having been on our screens with BBC Wales for nearly 25 years.

“It is a book about people and communities set within a beguiling landscape. Making this book was a privelege,” says David, who has a number of critically acclaimed books to his credit.

This is the book they have always wanted to do. It is their personal homage to the place they call home. And it is a celebration of the people and landscape of this tiny finger of land on the western edge of Britain.
