An accident waiting to happen is how Narberth's county councillor views the situation along one of the town's main roads.
The huge increase of vehicles parked in Moorfield Road is a danger and hazard to other motorists, says Clr. Wynne Evans (pictured at the scene).
"The increase in these parked vehicles seems to have started since the introduction of car parking charges on the Town Moor," said Clr. Evans, who has had two site meetings recently with regard to this issue.
"I now intend for a speedy traffic enforcement notice, which I hope will be fast-tracked to put double yellow lines down which will make it illegal to park there," explained Clr. Evans.
"There is a statutory due process that has to be followed before yellow lines can be introduced. In the meantime, I would appeal to all motorists not to park there in the interests of safety for all."
