Amroth School reunion was held on October 19 at Wiseman's Bridge Inn.

The evening opened with a welcome from Tina Johnson (nee Williams), who thanked everyone for supporting the even; some had travelled a long way to be there.

She thanked Lorraine Handicott (nee Bevan) and Barrie Williams for helping to organise the reunion.

Good wishes were received from some past pupils and teachers who could not attend.

The evening was a huge success, during which a presentation of school and past pupils photos prepared by Barrie were screened.

The school closed in 1982 and all who attended the reunion were amazed that Mrs. Eileen Algate was the oldest ex-pupil present at 91.

Lorraine then announced the raffle winners and Barrie thanked the Wiseman's Bridge Inn for the wonderful buffet and Andrew Jenkins the DJ.

Photos and memories were shared by pupils and teachers alike and a very enjoyable evening ended with karaoke and dancing.
