Sir, Your headline on August 27 was 'The changing face of Saundersfoot.' I wonder how many of your readers are aware of a planning application which, if successful, would, not just change, but damage forever the sea-front at Amroth. There are attractive gardens either side of the stream which flows down the valley to the sea at Amroth. Half of this area would be lost to unreasonably large houses and car-parking facilities if this development proceeds. It is to be hoped that the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority will not approve any development here, except perhaps just one single-storey dwelling in keeping with the site and landscape.
