Alstom are pleased to announce the return of the Charity Challenge weekend, with the now famous Rock 'n' Roll show 'That'll Be The Day'.

Alstom, local power station construction company, will be the principal sponsors and are delighted to support the charity challenge, to be held at Folly Farm on the weekend of July 15 and 16.

This follows the hugely successful event in July last year, which proved to be a massive hit with audiences and charities alike.

The total audience over the two nights exceeded 850 and raised a combined £13,146 for the Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI) and Wales Air Ambulance (WAA).

The charity challenge (organised by Phil Thompson, of Ciotek PR, in association with the Folly Farm team and volunteers) has grown to become Pembrokeshire's 'biggest party weekend' and locals should look forward to celebrating the jubilee anniversary of this much-loved event.

Rob Jordan, site manager for Alstom at the Pembroke Power Station construction project, said: "As a relatively new business in Pembrokeshire we are keen to get involved with the local community and what better way than sponsoring two fun nights while supporting worthwhile causes."
