An alleged mental health absconder was arrested by armed police on Tuesday night on suspicion of causing criminal damage.
His arrest comes after police and the fire brigade attended at a flat in Wogan Terrace, Saundersfoot at approximately 9.15 that morning in response to a report of criminal damage being caused to the property.
It was established that the person who was suspected of the offence was a male absconder from a psychiatric hospital in the London area.
Later that night, police officers located the suspect at a caravan site in New Hedges and he was arrested by armed officers.
He was taken to Pembroke Dock police station where inquiries were being carried out into a series of offences including attempted armed robbery across the country.
