An entertaining game of football was played at Tenby AFC ground recently.

Pembrokeshire U12s took on West Glamorgan, Pembrokeshire needing a point to grab runners-up to Swansea.

After 10 minutes Pembs. went a goal behind when they failed to clear their defence allowing the West Glamorgan striker to some how squeeze the ball past Shane Earp, the Pembs. 'keeper.

Ashley Prior had a chance to equalise, only to see his shot just go wide of the far post.

The second-half started much the same as the first with chances falling to both sides.

Jack Beavan, in the Pembs. defence was growing in confidence as the game went on and it took a well timed tackle from him to keep his side in the game.

With 10 minutes remaining James Davies came on as sub for the home side and, from one of his strong runs, Pembs. levelled the scores.

Davies passed to Liam Fitzpatrick who passed to Ashley Prior who made no mistake and rifled his shot passed the West Glamorgan custodian.

West Glamorgan went straight on the attack, a high ball into the penalty area was well headed clear by Jack Beavan.

With two minutes remaining, a clever pass from Alan Llewelyn to the ever alert Ashley Prior allowed him to score his second goal of the game.

With just seconds remaining West Glamorgan were awarded a penalty, which was well taken by their striker to make the final score 2-2.
