A fun-filled evening is in prospect with DJ music entertainment, children's rides, charity stalls, hot foods, including burgers and hot dogs, tea, coffee and a licensed bar.
The gates open at 6 pm, with the bonfire being lit at approximately 6.45 pm, and the spectacular firework display at 8.30 pm.
Rotary Club of Tenby president Peter Oeppen and his fellow Rotarians are very much looking forward to what is always a very enjoyable family community event and said that he hopes that once again a large crowd turn out to support the club on the night, to help raise the funds that will allow the Rotary Club to support as many charities and good causes as possible in the year ahead.
This year, the club is delighted that McCarthy & Stone Later Living (the company that is developing the retirement apartments at the former Royal Gatehouse Hotel site) is sponsoring the event, which will allow all money raised on the evening to be donated to charity.
President Peter also said that Greenhill School have very kindly agreed that people may park on the school car park and hard standing in front of the school on the evening free of charge, please use the Heywood Lane entrance (next to Tenby Infants School) to enter the car park.
The club is very pleased that the event is being held during the half-term break making it ideal for both locals and holidaymakers. Excellent feedback was received last year from delighted holidaymakers, who said that the event had 'made their holiday'.
The club has once again frozen admission prices at £4 for adults, £2 for children and just £10 for a family, (2+2).
