All plans are now in place for what will hopefully turn out to be an excellent Annual Mediaeval Fayre, organised by the Rotary Club of Tenby at Manorbier Castle, to be held next Wednesday, July 27. The fun will start at 6 pm, when the Mayor of Tenby, Clr Tish Rossiter, and her attendants will perform the opening ceremony and along with the usual much-enjoyed stalls, such as Bat the Rat, Wheel of Fortune and the Coconut Shy, live musical entertainment will be provided by popular local group The Rain Kings and Tenby Brass Band. This will be accompanied by entertainment for all the family by 'James the Juggler' and 'Circus Workshop'. Also in attendance will be the Carew Collegiate of Knights Templar, who will not only add colour to the proceedings, but will stage some re- enactments and drills to entertain the crowd. A licensed bar and hot food will be available, and not forgetting of course the always-excellent Welsh cakes, baked by ladies of the Inner Wheel. With all proceeds from the event going to help Rotary and Inner Wheel charities and good causes, president of the Rotary Club of Tenby, Rotarian Graham Fry, extends a warm welcome to everyone, and as this is the main fund-raising event of the year for the club, hopes that as many as possible will turn up.
