If you are out and about in Pembrokeshire this summer, why not give the car a holiday and ride a coastal bus for free. Pembrokeshire Greenways has teamed up with the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority to offer residents and visitors the opportunity to travel to the coast for nothing. Every Tuesday and Wednesday - starting July 31 - and throughout August, all you have to do is turn up and hop on a coastal bus to visit your favourite beach or walk. The coastal bus services form part of the Pembrokeshire Greenways project, which has been set up to encourage people to access the coast and countryside by public transport and enjoy outdoor activities such as walking and cycling. The buses serve the most popular sections of the Pembrokeshire Coastal National Trail and are the perfect transport solution for visiting the beach or walks around the coastline. All the coastal bus services have been designed and introduced by Pembrokeshire County Council in conjunction with the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority as part of the 'Pembrokeshire Greenways' project. Funding is provided by the county council's allocation of Local Transport Services Grant and the National Park.
