The RNLI's Sea Safety team will be holding a lifejacket clinic at Milford Marina on Saturday and Sunday, October 11 and 12, from 10.30 am to 4.30pm.
Did you know your lifejackets should be serviced and thoroughly checked annually?
Without such maintenance, you can't be sure that a lifejacket will inflate when needed, yet the checking and servicing procedures are very simple. All boat owners are welcome to visit the clinic and the local members of the Sea Safety team will tell you everything you need to know with a demonstration, either on your own lifejacket if you bring one along, or on a RNLI lifejacket at the stand.
Information will also be available on choosing the right type of lifejacket for children.
The team will also be happy to give advice on other safety equipment such as VHF radios, flares, anchors etc.
If you are unable to attend the clinic on either day, but would still like to take advantage of the RNLI's free safety advice, please contact Tenby Station's Sea Safety Officer on 07770 996574.
