Sir,
After seven years Adrian Snell, composer/singer-songwriter and music therapist, is releasing an inspiring and thought-provoking new album: Fierce Love.
I wanted to help promote the new album as Adrian Snell's music has been an inspiration to me from my youngest days, but is not as widely known as it deserves to be.
Fierce Love will have many stories to tell, but one particular influence is Adrian's work with children and young people with a variety of special needs. This influence comes both from the relationships he has formed, and the extraordinary range of instruments that are central to his Music Therapy work and now contribute to the unique soundscape of the album.
Adrian speaks of being; "Profoundly enriched by working with people whose view of the world is coloured by their struggle to conform to society's expectations. Within this community music so often becomes the bridge in this relationship; particularly where people are unable to communicate through words or choose not to use them.
"The album as a whole integrates all that I have become over these last years, with the journey from composer and recording artist, to music therapist."
I look forward to the release of Fierce Love on September 28, and hope to review it in the Tenby Times. It will be available on Adrian's website, http://www.adrian-snell.com">www.adrian-snell.com as well as iTunes, Amazon and other retailers.
