Digital Noticeboards
Do you think it would be a good idea to have two digital noticeboards outside the De Valence on the wall? One would be able to have posters displayed in rotation. The other would be a touchscreen and could have lots of local information useful for residents and tourists. People would be able to suggest which information to have, and it could include bus and train time tables, local places to visit, council information, etc. It would be helpful for people who do not have access to the internet while out and about, and would help to make up for a lack of a tourist information centre in Tenby, as well as providing accessible information for residents. What do you think? Send your thoughts to [email protected] or pop in to the town council office in the De Valence Pavilion on Upper Frog Street.

You can just come along and watch, or bring something to do – it is up to you...

They will also be open 10.30am to 12.30pm on Thursdays. Daylight Saving Ends
Don’t forget, this weekend is the end of summer time and clocks will go back one hour in the early hours of Sunday morning! This has happened since 1916, when William Willett suggested to parliament that if the clocks changed, we would all enjoy more daylight. What do you think? This is a good weekend to sort out all your winter clothes, and put away your summer ones. You could have a declutter at the same time! Decorate your home ready for winter – it’s not time for snowmen yet but maybe penguins and polar bears would look good! Make nightlight holders from old jam jars. Work out your favourite recipe for hot chocolate or soup. Check that you have some good books – story or colouring - to curl up with. Start a winter scrapbook. Whatever you do, enjoy it!
