SPAN Arts will hold an acoustic singers night at the Queen's Hall, Narberth, tomorrow (Saturday), with two well known folk singers and the Narberth- based Community Choir. Frankie Armstrong and Leon Rosselson are both contemporary songwriters who have earned their separate reputations as socially conscious and fascinating performers. Frankie has been hailed as one of the best singing teachers today and will give a workshop for singers at 2 pm. Leon is a passsionate activist, whose songs tell the truth about injustice and are also compelling and entertaining. Molara, 'the voice of Zion Train' and the Community Choir, who she has tutored, will round off this night of songs in style. They have been invited to enter the BBC choir of the year competition and bring their delightful harmony singing to close this night of many voices. Concert tickets are priced £8, concessions £7; workshop £5. They are available from Span Arts, tel. 01834 869323. Doors open at 7.30 pm.
