The funeral takes place today (Friday) of a 20-year-old man killed when the car in which he was travelling collided with a parked vehicle on Penally bypass last Wednesday.
Gavin Collier from the Neath area died in the accident which occurred at approximately 3.15 pm.
As a result, Mr. Collier, the passenger in the Peugeot, received fatal injuries.
The driver, meanwhile, who has not been named officially, but is believed to be a local man, was airlifted to the Heath Hospital, Cardiff
He remains in hospital in a serious, but stable condition.
Over 1,000 people have joined a Facebook group set-up in memory of Mr. Collier, while flowers and tributes have also been left at the crash scene.
It is understood Mr. Collier had travelled down here to test drive the car which he was interested in buying.
The funeral takes place in Neath.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident and in particular would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the Peugeot travelling in the area prior to the collision.
