Sir, May I vent my disgust through your 'paper at the hierarchy of Manorbier Artillery Range and the MoD, who showed a total lack of respect and insensitivity towards their dead comrades by continuing training and firing missiles on Armistice Sunday. It is bad enough having to put up with the earth-shuddering thumps and house shaking bangs on a normal Sunday, but to have to endure it on this day of what is meant to be Remembrance Sunday, a day reserved for reflection, beggars belief. In London, the authorities stop the traffic, in most cities, towns and villages throughout the UK they close their centres to pay respect to the fallen heroes, but on Manorbier Range it was business as usual on this special Sunday earmarked to the memory of the fallen of two world wars. Absolutely disgusting!
