NARBERTH Talespinners are fast gaining a great reputation for comedy - and this year's full-length play from the group, will certainly add to it. Caramba's Revenge begins with four elderly ladies who have been living together in Violet's rented house, pooling their pension books and sharing chores. But, when Violet dies, Marge, Lottie and Doris omit to tell the authorities and leave Violet's body peacefully in the cemetery. After all, that way they get to hold on to her pension book (not to say the house's rent book!) Life goes on. Marge begins another evening course, Doris shops - pocketing change for her secret tipples - and Lottie the writer pushes taste to the limit with her hard-boiled heroine, Vanda Lane. However, Violet's granddaughter, Ronnie, arrives from Australia in search of her relative. When she guesses the story she joins the commune hoping to improve their standard of living by bumping off other old ladies for their pension books... And the stage is set for a wickedly funny, black comedy in the style of 'Arsenic and Old Lace'. If you're dying to find out what happens next, don't miss Caramba's Revenge!
