The new exhibition, Daylight Ours, by local based artist Guy Manning officially opens at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery tomorrow (Saturday).
Guy, who graduated with a 1st in Fine Art in 1992, has built up a reputation for creating beautiful and moving paintings and his work was described by one collector as "like walking into summer".
His work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions across Europe and America and his paintings are held in private and public collections across the world, including the prestigious Museum of Modern Art (Wales).
Guy says of his work: "My paintings are a reflection of wandering around a lot with my wife Eloise and our dog, Watson, mainly in Wales, but increasingly in Brittany too.
"I use Michael Harding's oil paints, slowly building up several layers so that each area glows through the next. It is a way of weaving colours to show a shimmer of dust, depth, light, and leaf. I sit in fields a lot eating sandwiches!"
The sales exhibition will be officially opened by Richard Rhys-Davies at 2.30 pm and will run until Saturday, December 20.
The museum is currently open Tuesday - Saturday (closed Sunday and Monday) from 10 am to 5 pm (last admission 4.30 pm).
