Sir, Our house is above and behind Penally Church, giving us a fine view of Carmarthen Bay. On or about August 21, in the afternoon, among the many small boats in the bay was what appeared to be a Tenby Lugger. It was a gaff-rigged ketch, with brown sails, a large one on the main and the mizzen, plus two jibs on the main mast. Tenby Luggers were numerous early in the 20th century, but I was unaware any still existed. Perhaps one of your readers could tell me something about this particular boat and the class in general.

Michael Higgins, Penally.
