On Saturday, a Mexican family fun day was held in the sunny Emmanuel Gospel Church Hall, Manorbier.

It was a great success, with plenty of activities, including some uproarious attempts at salsa dancing; an enjoyable time was had by all. Homemade chilli was served with the freshly-made tortillas and various dips. Almond custard and bunelos (Mexican doughnuts) made a popular dessert.

The afternoon ended with an 'Open Doors' film about the life of the Church in Mexico, Peru and Columbia.

The event, which was organised by Hesed Christian Fellowship, also resulted in £61 being raised for the Open Doors charity. More chilli was shared after the Emmanuel service on Sunday morning!
