Early morning birds on the wing,
Parents busy, no time to sing,
Youngsters calling for titbits to eat,
Morning summer sounds are sweet.
Lovely gardens filled with flowers,
Storm cocks singing after showers,
As night creeps in and the last birds call,
Peace and quiet begins to fall.
The air is blessed with
fragrant scent,
Children asleep, a hard day’s spent,
Prayers said in every way,
“Thank you Lord, for this lovely day.”
