Narberth Under 12s enjoyed a successful end-of-season tour to New Quay over the last weekend of the Easter school holidays. As well as a chance for teams and parents from different age groups to socialise, Aberaeron RFC hosted a three-cornered tournament on the Sunday.

Narberth U12s won both their games against the home team and Bryntirion from Bridgend.

In their first match they continued the form of recent games, with forwards and backs linking effectively to produce some attractive open rugby.

Ifan Rees opened the scoring, with Griff Williams adding another, before Bryntirion replied with some sustained pressure and a quick-thinking try.

Jordan James rounded off the 15-5 win for Narberth.

Against the home team, Narberth were knocked back by a flying start when Aberaeron's back line outpaced the defence.

But Narberth got back to doing the basics well and went on to buil another 15-5 victory through tries by Leon Whalley, Dafydd Gibby and Griff Williams.
