Sir, As chair of governors of Tenby Infant VC School, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the head teacher, Mrs. Gill John, and her extremely hard-working team of staff, on their recent Estyn Inspection. As many of you are aware, the inspection process is an extremely stressful time within any school calendar. It imposes extra pressure and stress on top of what is a very demanding job in the first place. However, the dedication and sheer hard work of all staff, from cooks, caretaker, cleaners, LSA's and teaching staff, along with a wonderful sense of team spirit within Tenby Infant School, resulted in a truly magnificent Estyn report. The school was awarded 'Goods' for current performance and also for prospects for improvement. The inspection team was highly impressed with the good relationships that exist between its parents, governors, church and local community. The pupils at Tenby Infant VC School are a credit to all the staff who work there. We are very grateful, as governors, to be part of such a special team of people and we wish you every success in the future.
