HOW important is our history and what effect does it have on the present? Father Gildas of the Caldey Island Community is giving a talk at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery on Friday, May 30, based on his many years of research and investigation into the way history has affected us and how it is still relevant to our lives today. This will be a departure from his usual subjects which are mainly based on monastic life and faith. However, these often intermingled politics and history which can change the path we choose to tread. A charismatic speaker, Father Gildas always draws a large and enthusiastic audience. The talk will take place at the museum on Castle Hill where they look forward to welcoming you on the night. Booking is strongly advised to ensure a place. Tickets £5 (£4 with Friends card).
