The South and West Wales 3-2-1 Presentation was held at The Fox and Hounds, Bancyfelin on Saturday,?December 8.

The 3-2-1 is a points system which gives three points to the match winner; two points to the second placed and one point to the third placed ploughman, across the 11 Ploughing Societies Ploughing Matches throughout the ploughing season.

The host society’s chairman, Mr. Hugh Richards, welcomed everyone to the three course dinner.

The presentation was made to the Junior Champion who was Morgan Evans, from the West?Gower Ploughing Society. The Senior Champion was Gordon Harries, from South Pembs. Ploughing Society, winning it for the second time.

Gordon will be ploughing for Wales in the European Vintage Championships, to be held in Anstruther, near St. Andrews, Scotland, next October in the Vintage Trailer class.
