A night to remember! That was the verdict of the delighted crowds who came away from Folly Farm, Begelly, on Saturday evening. The 600-plus audience had just been treated to an incredible show 'That'll be the day' and had participated fully in the nostalgia of the Rock 'n' Roll era, joining in the songs and humour. Every member of the show delivered a faultless performance and were totally believable as the stars they portrayed This polished spectacular resulted in an amazing 'feel good' factor and everyone agreed it must be brought back to Pembrokeshire soon. With Chevron and Folly Farm meeting the overheads, every penny went to the life-saving charity, Wales Air Ambulance. Local community fund-raiser, Hilary Harvey said: "The ticket sales resulted in a fantastic 7,500 as it was a sell-out. With extra donations from Chevron and the generosity of the public during the day at our trailer and the audience in the evening putting money in our buckets and buying merchandise and tombola tickets, we now have a grand total of £8,600. "A huge thank you to everyone concerned and in particular the hard-working volunteers who helped so much, Jan and Chris, Megan, Marje and Keith, Len, John, Ann, Naomi,Sue and Pauline and Pete. "Grateful thanks to all the individuals and businesses who gave towards our tombola and helped boost the funds. Phil from Chevron and Chris from Folly were brilliant. The bikes supplied by Anthony Duvall and the scene set by Cath, of Make it Pretty, added to the atmosphere of the age of Rock 'n' Roll. The audience enjoyed an exceptional, vibrant night and the money raised through having such a good time will help our crews to save lives. The band said that this was an amazing audience and will be remembered as a highlight of their tour, so thank you Pembrokeshire!"
