As the weather hopefully begins to improve, Narberth Museum celebrates with a series of new workshops and events to bring on the spring.

Terry John’s next talk will be at 7.30 on Thursday, March 22, and will be on ‘Artists of the Tudor Court.’ As usual, this will be £5 per person and refreshments will be available from the museum cafe. The Spring Paperback Breakfast, also £5, is at 10 am on Saturday, April 7.

Following the success of Tudor Season at the museum, they will be launching a month of events based around Women’s History in May. Every Wednesday morning throughout the month there will be a free craft workshop to create patches for a community quilt. This project is supported by Age Cymru’s Gwanwyn Festival, Wales’ national festival celebrating creativity in older age, and the aim is to bring people together in friendship and celebration of the female experience. Although there is no charge, booking is essential as spaces are limited.

The next Living Memory Cafe will be at 2 pm on Friday and the Parkinson’s get-together at 1.30 on Thursday, March 29.

Jacqueline Thompson’s family history surgeries continue on Thursdays from 10.30 and the life drawing group with Simon Harrison meets every Friday from 10. Please get in touch for any further information.
