It was indeed an Abba Magical night out at the De Valence, Tenby, last Friday.
"How many times did you see Mamma Mia?" was the favourite question amongst the audience, with numbers varying; nine was the record. Does it matter?
The music goes on and on and this is music you can listen to time and time again whilst 'having the time of your life'.
'Don't be shy, you know you want to' was the opening invite to dance and enjoy the evening. It was great to see a blend of generations coming together to have pure fun and entertainment from a first class act. 'Friday nights and the lights are low'... 'looking for a place to go'... and the best place to be last Friday was the De Valence.
ABBA Magic, the UK's original Abba touring concert show, featured all their top 10 hits and authentically revived the musical phenomenon that is as popular today as it was during Abba's heyday in the '70s and '80s. The music remained as infectious as ever and, of course, everyone knew the words to 'Dancing Queen', 'Knowing me, Knowing you', 'The Name of the Game', 'Mamma Mia' and 'Take a Chance on Me'.
'Thank you for the music, for giving it to us'.
