A group of students from Pembrokeshire College paid a visit to County Hall in Haverfordwest this month.
The youngsters, who are studying citizenship as part of a Vocational Preparation Programme, had been invited to visit Pembrokeshire County Council's headquarters by Clr. Huw George, cabinet member for children and young people.
The youngsters were taken on a tour of County Hall and given a talk about the work of local government.
Course tutor Hazel Thompson said they had thoroughly enjoyed their visit, which had brought the role of local government to life.
