Sir, A couple of weeks ago, someone asked me: "Where is the friendliest place you have ever visited?" The answer was easy: "Pembrokeshire." Sadly, after 15 years of summer residences, circumstances dictate that this must be my final year, but before I go, I would like to thank everyone for their friendship and hospitality; it's made my time here something special. To the members of the bowling fraternity, especially Saundersfoot, thank you for your sportsmanship and laughter on the green. Because of you, and others like you, these past years have been some of the best in my life. Thank you again; I shall miss you all.
Derek Newton,
