Sir, I celebrate the festive season as the birth of the 'Prince of Peace', but am ever mindful of Christmas-tide and consider many aspects surrounding it. God proposed a simple lifestyle for mankind and an extremely modest one also: In Genesis, verse 1:29, 'I give you every seed bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it'. So why should we not be content to live on natural resources - fruits, herbs and vegetables. Imagine a world righted by a physical and spiritual diet - one and the same!! Therefore, my message next year would be hope and simplicity. Hope that there will be stewards who will take on the values of creation - and finally simplicity in that we retain God's generous offerings upon our earth without exploiting our resident creatures. May we restore the harmony we were given. God bless you all, merry Christmas.
