Tenby RNLI will be holding its Open Day at the seaside town’s lifeboat station this weekend, with a chance to watch the all-weather Tamar lifeboat - the Haydn Miller launch.

The Open Day will be held this Sunday, July 27 from 10am, where members of the public can come and meet the crew and have rare chance to get aboard the Tamar class lifeboat and learn about the technology that makes it amongst the most advanced in the RNLI fleet.

There will be a chance to tour the station, and then watch the all-weather lifeboat launch down the slipway (weather permitting) at 5pm from one of the vantage points on Castle Hill, and stay to watch the recovery which will take place shortly afterwards.
