A special 'Celebration of Learning' was held at Tenby earlier this month. Held at Tenby Community Learning Centre, the event was an opportunity for students and prospective learners to meet tutors, 'have a go' and find out about courses on offer in September. Clr. Sue Perkins, cabinet member with responsibility for education, attended the event and announced the winners and finalists of the art and creative writing competitions. Lesley Chambers won the art competition for her picture 'Bathers on South Beach', while Alan Keating won the creative writing competition for his poem, 'Adult Learning.' A presentation was also made to Jo Vickery, administrative officer at Tenby Community Learning Centre.
