It's been a busy week at Tenby's Park House Court. On Monday, the chairman of Pembrokeshire County Council, Clr. Bill Roberts and his wife, Mrs. Caroline Roberts, who is a staff nurse at Withybush Hospital, visited. They toured what will become Tenby Cottage Ward, as well as visiting patients already in Lighthouse Ward. Later, Clr. Roberts joined residents in Park House Court for a tea-time recital given by Alla, who comes from Belarus. She is currently staying with her daughter Anna Thomas, who lives in Saundersfoot. Anna explained a little about each piece of music played. Alla played a selection of Russian, European and popular music, while the residents enjoyed a range of delicious home-made pastries and sausage rolls. Clr. and Mrs. Roberts were shown around the home, meeting and talking to more residents and seeing the facilities that Park House Court can offer those that stay with them. On Tuesday morning, the residents of Lighthouse were visited by the residents of Tom's Wing, and with other guests enjoyed a coffee morning together.   Many from Tom's Wing took the 'tour' of the new wards and what they could offer, seeing for themselves the new state-of-the-art equipment not available in many places yet. All this, with Welsh cakes and with the music of Keith Sandall playing - he is better known as 'The Music Man'.
