A woman who stole a TV aerial booster from a local store has appeared in court.

Twenty-six-year-old Kayleigh Davies, of Pembroke Street, Pembroke Dock, appeared at Haverfordwest magistrates court on Tuesday to admit the charge.

The court heard that on October 12 of last year, the defendant stole the item valued at £30 from the Asda store in Pembroke Dock.

On sentencing, magistrates handed the defendant a 12 month community order, to include a ‘thinking skills’ programme and Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.

Miss Davies was also ordered to pay compensation of £30 to the store, £85 in prosecution costs and a £90 victim surcharge.
