A Whitland woman charged with being in possession of a bladed article in public has been fined in court.
Initially, magistrates in Haverfordwest issued an arrest warrant after twenty-four-year-old Stephanie Louise Piper, of Market Street, did not attend a scheduled hearing in court on Tuesday (February 21).
When the defendant did appear the following day, she pleaded guilty to the offence of being in possession of a locking knife in public in Milford Haven on May 17, of last year.
Ms Piper was fined £120 for the offence and also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £30 victim surcharge.
A destruction order for the knife was also passed by magistrates.
