A Hakin man who is accused of benefit fraud is set to go on trial in February.

Sixty-five-year-old Kevin David Phillip Lee charged with two counts of failing to notify the Department for Work and Pensions of a change in circumstances which would affect entitlement to a social security benefit, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday to deny the charges.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between October 8, 2013 and January 12, 2018.

Mr. Lee opted to have his trial at the Magistrates Court after the bench stated it was happy to retain jurisdiction on the case.

The defendant who was released on unconditional bail was ordered to return to court on February 13.
