Tenby RNLI responded to a shout on Monday afternoon, after reports that a person had suffered a head injury on a beach between Lydstep and Manorbier.
The relief Tamar lifeboat was launched at 3.05 pm on September 4, after a request from the coastguard to assist in the medevac of a person that had suffered a head injury at Precept beach between Lydstep and Manorbier.
The volunteer crew quickly made the four mile journey west, but as they were approaching Precept, the coastguard confirmed that the person was well enough to walk to safety and no longer needed assistance.
The lifeboat returned to station, arriving at 3.45 pm.
