Tenby RNLI were in action again last night after a report that a person had been cut off by the incoming tide at Freshwater East.

All-weather lifeboat Th Haydyn Miller was launched at around 8.15 pm on Thursday, July 20, and once on the scene, the volunteer crew launched the Y-boat and picked up the casualty from rocks at the North end of the beach, before dropping him ashore, where he was met my members of the coastguard.

The lifeboat then returned to station, arriving at 9.10 pm.
