Tenby’s RNLI crew jumped into action late on Sunday night, to assist a vessel with engine issues.
The all-weather lifeboat was requested to launch shortly after 10 pm on Sunday (August 6), following reports of a boat with engine failure in between Waterwynch and Monkstone, three quarters of a mile north-east of the station.
The volunteer crew were soon on the water and after a brief search, located the casualty vessel.
The occupants requested a tow back to Saundersfoot.
With the vessel now safely back in Saundersfoot harbour, the lifeboat returned to station, arriving at 11.20 pm.
