Tenby Coastguard Rescue team were tasked for the second time on Thursday (September 3), to tend to the evacuation of a casualty from a beach in the locality, this time assisting HM Coastguard St. Govans at Barafundle.

Thousands of ultra low emission vehicles registered in Pembrokeshire – as campaigners group call for more equal access across UKAfter being paged at 6 pm, the coastguard teams made best speed to the location and were met by Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust paramedics.
St Govan team transported the paramedics and medical equipment to the beach and after evaluation of the location, Coastguard Rescue helicopter 187 was requested to assist with the evacuation of the casualty from the beach.
The casualty was carried by Coastguard officers and helicopter crew and then transported to Withybush hospital for further care.
