The Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 is directed at improving the social, economic, environmental and cultural well-being of Wales. In doing so, the Act ensures that Public Sector organisations across Wales consider the long-term impact of their decisions, securing current and future generations a good quality of life. The Act also ensures that the challenges faced by Wales, such as climate change, poverty, health inequalities and jobs and growth are tackled by public bodies working together.
