More than 30 firefighters were called out after a water main was struck at the new Aldi site in Pembroke Dock, causing flooding to a number of nearby properties on Tuesday.

An Aldi spokesperson said: “This has now been fixed and we have launched an investigation into the cause of what happened. We have apologised to those affected and are working directly with them to keep any disruption to a minimum.

“We would like to thank everyone for their patience during this time.”
