Police in Pembrokeshire took part in Dyfed-Powys Police’s #totalfocus day of action on Tuesday, October 10.
Throughout the day, a number of planned activities took place focusing on the theme of Total Focus on their service to victims. These activities included action to target drug related harm caused to the community through the execution of 10 warrants under the misuse of drugs act at various addresses across the county.
Four drugs warrants were executed in North Pembrokeshire, with one of these proving positive.
The male occupant of a property in Freemans View, Haverfordwest, was arrested for possession with intent to supply, with officers locating 60 deals of cannabis at the address along with a further bag containing 72.8 grammes of loose leaf (pictured).
Six warrants were executed across South Pembrokeshire, with five of these proving positive.
A quantity of white powder was located at an address in Spring View, Pembroke Dock. Arrangements will be made for the occupant to be interviewed by police.
A quantity of herbal cannabis was located at an address in Chapel Row, Llanreath. Arrangements will be made for the occupant to be interviewed by police.
A quantity of cannabis located at an address in Brewery Street, Pembroke Dock. Arrangements will be made for the occupant to be interviewed by police.
A quantity of tobacco/cannabis mix was located within the property in Wellington Street, Pembroke Dock. A female was issued with a cannabis warning.
A male and female found in possession of herbal cannabis at a property in Albion Court, Pembroke Dock. Arrangements will be made for the occupant to be interviewed by police.
Chief Inspector Mark McSweeney said: “The day of action was about targeting those who take advantage of the most vulnerable in our society.
“I would encourage anyone with any information or concerns in relation to drug misuse to contact us, and reassure everyone that any such information will be acted upon.
“Tackling drugs is a priority and drug misuse will not be tolerated, we take positive action to disrupt the supply and use of such substances.”
