A popular Pembrokeshire pub has put an appeal out on social media, after an incident on Saturday night, where one of it’s members of staff appeared to be head-butted by the bar, by a customer.
The alleged assault occurred at around 7.25 pm at the Wiseman’s Bridge Inn, when a very well known local and member of staff (who was off duty at the time) appears to have been randomly attacked at the bar which was full at the time during a busy Saturday (April 15) evening, causing what the pub said was 'severe injuries' to the victim.
“This occurred during a busy period and when children were still present,” posted Wiseman’s Bridge Inn on its Facebook page, appealing to members of the public to come forward to identify the person responsible.
“This individual was previously seen being aggressive and demanding to other bar staff.
“This disgusting behaviour will not be tolerated ever,” they continued, stating that CCTV had captured the person responsible's face on camera.
If any of our neighbours, pubs, fellow caravan and camping parks, shops or anyone has any information, please contact us immediately.
“We as a pub are in absolute disbelief!”
The Inn added the following morning: “Thanks to everyone for their comments, shares and messages regarding our incident last night.
“We believe the individual (wearing a baseball cap) is a holiday maker and is staying very locally.
“Please get in touch if you recognise him or the group he is with, but please be very cautious,” they added.
Dyfed-Powys Police has been contacted over the incident.
